 Pastor DelRoy Johnson - Senior Pastor
Pastor DelRoy, with his wife Patty, is the founding Pastor of Oak Park Community Church. God gave him a vision for a ministry in the heart of Blaine more than 20 years ago. Oak Park started in 1985 as a Bible study and grew to what we now have as the congregation of Oak Park. Pastor encourages us to pray that God will help us be, "the church in the heart of the community with the community at heart." Pastor and Patty have four grown children and 17 grandchildren that all are a part of OPCC.
Pastor DelRoy brings a unique gift to Oak Park as he was also a college professor at Northwestern College in Roseville for 25 years. He taught many students over the years in Biology, Earth Science and Environmental Science and Human Anatomy. Because of his education and love for science, we are blessed to have him share how "the heavens and earth declare" the beauty and wonder of our Lord. He has just recently retired from Northwestern so he can focus on his bride of 50 years and his love of the Lord and serving Him at Oak Park.
Pastor DelRoy loves people and is often referred to as "Coach." God has used him to minister to thousands of people over the last 25 years. His servant heart has allowed him to be a part of almost every ministry at Oak Park. You will often find him leading a Bible Study, teaching the junior high, or watering the trees - he never sits! He has coached many of our softball teams and has led us to many victories as our pitcher.
We thank God for him, and would ask you to pray for Pastor DelRoy on a continued basis. He loves to fish and if you come to Oak Park, you may end up one day sitting on a boat with him praising Jesus and catching fish, being "fishers of men."

 Pastor Vince Hokkanen - Associate Pastor
Pastor Vince started working at Oak Park in 1995 as the Youth Pastor. In 1997 he accepted the role of Associate Pastor and now serves with his wife Darcy and their two children. Pastor Vince's primary role is to assist the Senior Pastor in working with adult ministries including preaching, teaching and counseling. Pastor Vince also serves on the elder board, and enjoys being a part of the guiding and directing of our Church.
Often referred to tenderly as the "resident theologian," Pastor Vince's passion is leadership development and studying the counter culture we face, and developing ways to communicate God's truth to them.
Pastor Vince implemented and oversees the small group ministry at Oak Park, we call them "one-another" groups. These are opportunities to develop relationships and give our church family a deepened sense of community. He leads the Wednesday evening adult Bible Study and he and his wife also enjoy leading a "one another" group called Cornerstone for young families. We are also thankful that he has a great love for music and he is part of the worship band playing the drums and occasional song writing and arrangements.
